How does aila work? How does it call for you and what does it not do?

aila calls a business on your behalf and introduces itself as the user's AI assistant. Calls, quotes and bookings are never final without your approval.

What does the venue hear?

The person on the other end hears that your AI assistant is calling. aila does not pose as a human; it says it is calling on your behalf.

What does aila not do?

To protect your trust, aila deliberately does not do certain things.

  • It does not commit money on your behalf.
  • It does not leave voicemail.
  • It does not finalize calls, quotes or bookings without your approval.

What else is there besides calls?

aila can notify someone that you are running late, ask about price, availability and stock and bring back a comparison, and pass a message to a person or business and bring back the reply. For a driver, airport transfer or courier it brings a quote; the fee is separate and stated in the quote.

    A card shows what aila will do and who it will call. No call is made until you tap "Approve the call".

    aila calls the business, introduces itself as your AI assistant, and asks about availability and the details needed.

    If your time is taken, it takes the closest time within the range you gave. It reports the result and adds the appointment to your calendar.

    For tasks that need a quote, aila brings the quote and it becomes final only if you approve.
