An assistant that tells the restaurant or venue you are running late
Yes, aila phones the venue on your behalf to say you are running late and brings you the answer. It asks for your approval before calling.
Why does it help?
Making a call is hard when you are on the road or in a meeting. aila finds the number and takes over the call; you only say how late you will be.
aila can also work out from your location that you will be late and warn you. A time to leave card appears in your feed.
What if the venue cannot be reached?
If the line is busy or unanswered, aila tries up to two more times a few minutes apart. If it still cannot reach the venue, it tells you. It does not leave voicemail.
Can a late notice be part of a bigger request?
Yes. A restaurant booking, a calendar entry, a return driver and a late notice can all be in one request. aila asks for approval at every critical step.
